About me...
I am an artist working with painting and mixed media to explore perception, materiality, and the embodied experience of landscape. Using oil paint alongside materials such as jesmonite, wood, and cellophane, my work investigates how we encounter place not only visually, but through the senses, memory, and physical engagement.
Influenced by phenomenology and material-led processes, my practice treats painting as a form of inquiry rather than representation. Materials actively shape each work, introducing resistance, distortion, and unpredictability that mirror the instability of perception itself. Through this process, landscape becomes a site of encounter — something discovered through making rather than observed from a distance.
